INTRODUCTION
Dr. Evanich began his real estate career in 1983 in real estate sales, subsequently specializing in the appraisal of all types of real estate and real estate education process. Appraisal assignments included commercial, office, industrial, and single and multi-family residential types of properties, as well as special use real estate. The properties located throughout the Midwest region had appraised values ranging from $500,000 to $50,000,000. Appraisal assignments included both existing and proposed developments. These services were provided to local and national clients, including financial institutions, corporations, insurance companies, law firms, and governmental agencies.
He has applied his experience as a former university professor to the real estate profession. As a licensed real estate instructor in Louisiana, he taught pre-licensing and post-licensing courses for salespersons and brokers. He currently teaches real estate appraisal courses throughout the United States. These appraisal courses are approved by the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation for state certification of real estate appraisers.
Dr. Evanich holds the MAI membership designation in the Appraisal Institute, Member Number 9034. He is also affiliated with the National Association of Master Appraisers, MSA designation. Both organizations have strict ethical rules and standards for their membership and adhere to the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP). He was awarded a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wilkes College (1963) and a Doctor of Philosophy degree from the University of Tennessee (1969).
